The Dartmouth Globlization Post-Doctoral Fellowship offers the opportunity to join the Dartmouth globalization group for a year between the completion of a Ph.D. and the start of a tenure-track assistant professorship. Post-doctoral fellows receive a competitive academic year salary, an office in the Economics department, a small research fund and moving costs. The obligations of the selected Post-Doctoral Fellow are to be in residence at Dartmouth for the academic year, to take part in the normal research-related activities of the Department (seminars/lunches etc.), and to interact with the trade and broader economics faculty in the Department and at the Tuck School.
The requirement for acceptance of the position is that the candidate has accepted a tenure-track assistant professorship or the equivalent at a research institution and can put off his/her start date for a year to be spent at Dartmouth.
Applications are now closed for the 2024-2025 Fellowship. New applications for the 2025-2026 Fellowship will be invited in the Fall.
